For more than twenty-five years Jay Simon and Jeff Clark of Metropolitan Design & Building Company have designed and built living environments in St. Louis, with the goal of improving the quality of life through inspired architecture and construction.  Metropolitan Development Group evolved from an expansion of Metropolitan Design & Building and has adopted the philosophy that living environments should be comfortable, affordable, functional, beautiful, and inspired.  Our purpose is to make inspired communities happen.
